F.Fine Gallery presents “PARADISE LOST” a collective exhibition by a handful of recognized, emerging Chinese contemporary artists, mainly working in painting and photography: Chen Ke , Cui Xiuwen, Jia Aili, Jiang Zhi, Ji Lei, Tu Hongtao, Tang Yong, Wang Qiang, Wei Jia, Yang Xun, Xu Bacheng, Zhu Hai.
From the Press Release: ” Contemporary Art Exhibition is precisely grounded in this context. It is to showcase young contemporary Chinese artists’ thoughts and their artistic modes of expression, while revealing their contemplations on politics, economy and culture of China, or even the world today. …. The young artists’ senses tap into various fields of politics, quotidian life, and psychological experience. Not only have they carried on the cultural responsibilities of the previous generations of artists, but they are also concerned with the extent to which art is expanding today, or even the fundamentals of art. ….. [The twelve artists of this exhibition] works are rational and thoughtful, delicate and sensitive, revealing the distorted yet intricate relationships between the individual and the collective, and display reality and one’s inner world.”
