Ellen Pearlman is a writer, film maker, photographer, critic and curator who lives between Brooklyn, NY, Beijing, China and Calgary, Canada. Winner of an Asian Cultural Council Grant, an Arthub/Biz Art Shanghai project grant in association with the Prince Claus Trust, a Banff Mountain Culture Grant and various other awards, she is Artistic Director of Yuanfen Gallery of new media in Beijing and currently a Ph.D. student in Computational Media and Design at the University of Calgary, Canada.
