在中国当代艺术现状下如何界定（或重新界定）“艺术家”
正如姚嘉善2008年的获奖文章“生产模式”中深入探讨的一样，对于中国艺术家借助自身以外劳动力来完成艺术品的制作已经成为了一个标准做法。事实 上，她认为这种能力已经成为了正如我们所知道的形成中国当代艺术史诗规模的前提条件。这种趋势奠定了艺术家作为艺术作品最终著作权的新观念基础，虽然与此 同时狂躁的艺术市场以及强大的艺术收藏家为艺术家定义价值并由此改变了策展观念。
或许，像站台中国的“丛林”艺术项目和没顶公司在进行的一些实验，指出了一个新的发展方向，艺术家和策展人面对这种状况直接提供理论和实践的回应，这些都标志着中国当代艺术进程进入新的发展阶段。
